Please
let me know if there are problems with the site, if links are broken or you
would like a topic added.
I
am looking for photographs of goat diseases, poor body conformation (such as bad legs, jaws, teeth,
etc.) and goat birth defects. If you want to donate pictures to the site, please
send
them to goatdairylibrary@frontiernet.net.
The
librarian's job is to do research, organize and store information, but not
to give advice. Please contact your veterinarian or extension agent, or call one of the
help lines listed in the
Reference section if you need specific information for your farm. The following link is a listing of
extension agents in the U.S. who are goat experts: http://www.usextension.org/goatspecialists.pdf.
The
Goat Dairy Library is currently being used in over 93 countries.
The number of e-mails I am receiving far exceeds the
time I have available to answer them, so as of January 2008, I will no longer be
able to respond to emails, except those requesting permission to use
copyrighted materials, or requesting assistance in preparing training
materials for goat milk production in developing countries.
